Garmin - Enduro Watch launch

A shoot with Garmin took us to the Peak District (in the midst of winter!) with top mountain runner Tom Evans. We battled the elements in sub-zero temperatures to film the watch in use in extreme conditions, mixing up voice to camera pieces, drone action and both still and moving photography. We only had a short space of time to film so managed to capture both the still photography images alongside the film shoot, which is a great economic use of time for the client. The idea for this project was to produce lifestyle content to promote the new watch, along the theme of ‘endurance’.

We produced a selection of films in different formats to support the variety of online platforms for the film to be released.

Vzug - launch film

Vzug is a premium Swiss quality kitchen appliance and furniture company who wanted to film the launch of their stylish new studio in London. We attended the opening event and interviewed the key individuals to capture the ethos behind the brand and design and share their story behind the concept.

This was a lovely project with great visuals, which we were able to showcase in a suite of still images and launch video to be used online.

Tyson Fury - 'Tom.co.uk' TV advert

Keen followers of Bullet will know that we love our boxing films, working with fight choreography, lighting and sound design. So when life insurance for dads brand Tom.co.uk invited us to pitch a TV advert, working with boxing legend Tyson Fury, we jumped at the opportunity. We were given a basic brief to work on and presented five ideas, of which the winning one secured us the pitch. We based the storyboard concept around the ‘count’, working on the idea that in life, sometimes you get knocked down, sometimes you get up - and if you don’t, make sure you leave memories and security.

Our filming took two days in Morecambe and it was a privilege to spend time with Tyson and his team, interviewing him and ensuring his narrative delivered the brand messages. From this filming session, we created around 300 edits for direct response video emails, all targeted at different potential customers, as well as an emotive TV advert, which first aired during prime time breakfast TV.

The 220 Watch Company - spitfire watch launch

Following the success of the 220 Watch Company’s first project with us, we were pleased to be asked to back to create a lifestyle film and product photo shoot to launch the 220 Watch Company’s newest product on kickstarter.

The ‘R J Mitchell’ watch design was inspired by the Spitfire plane, which was invented by Reginald Mitchell for World War II. The theme of the launch was to take us back to WWII days, when a Spitfire pilot would have needed a super accurate watch to operate. The details on the watch are designed around the iconic aesthetics of the fighter plane.

For the shoot, we organised the model, styling and location, which involved filming with a replica spitfire as a prop. The finished film combined stock footage and our filmed content to create the wartime atmosphere. We used the opportunity to shoot the lifestyle photographs at the same time as the film shoot, and then headed back to the studio for the detailed product shots in order to provide a complete package for launch time.

Queens Inclosure Primary School Promotion

Queen’s Inclosure is a lovely primary school in Waterlooville, who were keen to give new parents an idea of what life in school is like, without being able to physically show them around (due to the Coronavirus restrictions).

Normally, a school tour would be led by children, who are very good at being honest(!), and the school were keen to make the video a similar experience - with the unscripted narrative all led by children. They have a great culture at the school and wanted to get this across, showing the various different learning zones and the way children enjoy their time there. This film was shot over two days, interviewing children in an informal setting and filming them experiencing their normal day.

Healthy Lifestyle relaunches

We all need a healthier lifestyle and these two companies promote just that! We created punchy online content with an animated text-based film to launch the My Health Revolution app and the EatGood Club menu plans, using mainly stock images. Check out the films below (play with sound!).

The Eat Good Club offers meal prep plans designed for individuals to help them with weight loss, delivering freshly prepared meals nationwide.

Garmin promotion - with Ant Middleton

We were really excited to start work with our new client, Garmin, on a photography and video project featuring Ant Middleton. We went to his home in Essex to shoot a variety of content, which will be released over the next few months to support the product launch of Garmin’s fēnix 6X – Pro Solar Edition watch.

We filmed the extreme adventurer out on trails in the countryside whilst using the Garmin technology, at home with his family and in a variety of settings to show the various features of the product. We captured stills and video footage to provide a complete package of promotional images that will be used alongside the marketing campaign.

Dunlop FX Commercial

As part of the multiple racket launch campaign, we created a commercial for the new Dunlop FX tennis racket, with the brief to demonstrate the racket’s ‘power at full force’.

We took a full team on a four-day shoot and worked our magic with visual effects and sound design to create a package of marketing content, including promotional images for the launch. Check out the behind the scenes film too!
